 Contract Teaching Assistant 

West Monkton CofE Primary School, part of The Oak Partnership Trust, seeks to appoint a Teaching Assistant.  We are looking to employ a member of staff who is flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the school and has patience. The role involves working on a 1:1 basis and in small pupil intervention groups. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Working 1:1 with pupils with a range of specific SEND, as required.
  • Working in small intervention groups.
  • Implementing adaptations to learning identified by the class teachers and SENDCo.
  • Working closely with the class Teachers, Pastoral Assistant and other Teaching Assistants to support the pupils.

Experience Desirable:

  • Experience in education.
  • Experience Supporting pupils with SEND.
  • Experience working with High Needs children.

Salary: Grade 15 point 3, £17,009 per annum, pro rata

Hours of work:  30 hours 25 minutes per week.  Term time only - 38 weeks 

Start Date: ASAP
